I’m painting naive pictures of happy people and cosy villages. My favourite motives are people in peaceful and pleasant situations with humour. Many people wonder where I get my motives - the answer is very simple, I just look around and sometimes it happens that somebody can recognize his aunt Martha or uncle Karl in my paintings.
I joined a painter club where I tried to paint like the others ("normally"), but it always ended naive. At the request of my painter colleagues, I sent a picture to the contest "picture of the year in Southern Jutland" and I won the first prize. After an article in "Femina" I was contactet by Kaj Soerensen from Fyns Art House and discovered so many good Danish naive painters.
Exhibitions in galleries and museums in Denmark, Germany, France, Poland and Israel and censored exhibitions.
